Daily Forecast

From Chief Meteorologist Mike Modrick:

Heavy Rain for the Plains, Heavy Snow in the Hills!

A small but wet storm is moving right over us through Tuesday and Wednesday. For the plains, 1" to 3" rains will be common. In the higher Black Hills, 6" to 12" of snow will fall. Even in Rapid City some snow will mix in, but those amounts should be minor.

Another small storm will bring another round of rain, and slightly warmer temps, Thursday afternoon and night. We clear out and get a break Friday and Saturday to start Memorial Weekend. Then another storm moves in Sunday afternoon with some thunderstorms that could continue into Memorial Day, too.
