Daily Forecast

From Meteorologist Ethan Emery:

A warm Tuesday forecast:

Warmer air moves in Tuesday along with cloud cover. Tuesday will be the warmest day for many as highs will leap into the 40s and low 50s with winds starting out from the southwest with afternoon winds being from the west-northwest!

We're tracking a system on Wednesday that could bring some light rain and snow in the evening and overnight hours. At this time amounts look to be fairly light with the highest snow totals being around 1" for the Northern Hills and in northeast Wyoming; though most areas will only see a dusting including in Rapid City. If anything changes we will keep you posted!!

Temperatures on Thursday will slip into the the 30s and 40s with a mix of sun and clouds. Then mild air quickly returns to the Black Hills by the end of the week! Expect sunny skies with temperatures in the 40s through next weekend; and models want to keep near to above average temperatures through the following week into the start of February. MISSING: Old Man Winter. Let us know if you find him!
