2 garlic cloves, minced
3 TB olive oil
1 (28oz) can tomato sauce
1 c dry red wine, such as Cabernet Sauvignon
basil, salt and pepper
DirectionsSauté garlic in olive oil until just browned.
Add tomato sauce, wine, salt and pepper. Cover and simmer 15 minutes.
If using with meatballs, add meatballs then serve with basil.
