Spicy Chili


1 1/2 lb ground beef (lean)
1 1/2 lb Italian sausage
3 cans Mexican style stewed tomatoes, undrained
2 cans kidney beans (either light or dark) rinsed and drained
1 cup chopped onion
2 jalapenos, minced
1 (6oz) can tomato paste
2 TB Mexican chili powder
2 TB white vinegar
1 1/2 tsp cumin
1 1/2 tsp hot pepper sauce
1 tsp salt
1 tsp paprika


Brown beef and sausage until no longer pink. Put in bottom of crock pot; add the remaining ingredients. Cook on high for 2 hours or low for 3 hours, stirring twice.
