Slow Cooker Spaghetti


16 meatballs (homemade or store-bought)
1 can crushed tomatoes
2 TB tomato paste
1 small yellow onion, finely chopped
1 tsp oregano
2 cloves garlic, minced
salt and freshly ground black pepper
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
1 c chicken broth
3/4 lb spaghetti


Place meatballs in crock pot.
In a bowl, combine the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, onion, oregano, garlic and salt and pepper. Add in the red pepper flakes.
Pour over meatballs and stir to combine.
Cook on HIGH until meatballs are done (1 1/2 hours for store-bought, 2 1/2 hours for homemade raw, on average).
Add chicken broth and spaghetti (you may need to break up the pasta so it will fit in the crock pot) and cook another half hour to an hour or until pasta is done.
Serve with Parmesan cheese and/or finely chopped fresh parsley.
