Slow Cooked Swiss Steak


2 TB flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 1/2 lb beef round steak, cut into 6 pieces
1 medium onion, cut into 1/4" slices
1 celery rib, chopped
2 (8oz) cans tomato sauce


In a large resealable plastic bag, combine the flour, salt and pepper. Add the steak; seal bag and toss to coat. Place the onion in a greased slow cooker. Top with the steak, celery and tomato sauce. Cover and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours, high for half that time, or until meat is tender.
