Pasta Meatball Soup


1 c uncooked spiral or shell pasta
32 frozen Italian meatballs, thawed
2 cans chicken broth
1 (28oz) can diced tomatoes, undrained
1 1/2 c sliced carrots
1 can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
1 jar (14oz) spaghetti sauce
1 can sliced mushrooms, drained
1 c frozen peas


Cook pasta according to package directions.
Meanwhile, combine the remaining ingredients in a soup kettle or Dutch oven. Bring to a boil; cover and simmer for 65 minutes. Drain pasta and add to the soup; heat through.
