1/2 cup cold water
1/4 c flour
1 c pure maple syrup
1 egg, slightly beaten
2 TB butter
baked pie crust

DirectionsMix water and flour together until smooth. Stir in syrup then egg, mixing thoroughly.
Pour mixture into a pot and cook on medium low for 8 to 10 minutes or until very thick. Add 2 tablespoons butter and continue cooking until butter melts.
Pour into pie crust then let cool to set.
