Hamburger and Cheese Quiche


1 lb ground beef
1 9-inch pie crust
3 eggs, lightly beaten
1/2 c mayonnaise
1/2 c milk
1/2 c chopped onion
4 tsp cornstarch
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
2 c cheddar cheese, shredded


Prick bottom of pie crust with fork and prebake in a 450 degree oven for 5 minutes.

Meantime, brown ground beef until no pink remains. Drain and put in a bowl. Add remaining ingredients, reserving 1 cup of cheese.

Bake in a 350 degree oven for 35 to 40 minutes or until set. Remove from oven and sprinkle top with remaining cup of cheese and let sit while cheese melts.
