2 lbs ground beef, lean
1 medium onion, finely diced
1 red bell pepper, diced
1 (14.5oz) can diced tomatoes, drained
1 tsp ground mustard
1 tsp dried oregano
1 1/2 tsp BBQ seasoning
1 lb sharp cheddar cheese, cubed
DirectionsIn a large skillet add the ground beef, diced onion and diced bell pepper and cook until the meat is browned and no longer pink.
Drain meat to remove excess fat.
Add the cooked meat mixture to a 4 to 6 quart crock-pot
Add the remaining ingredients and stir to combine.
Cover and cook on LOW for 2 to 4 hours.
Serve on hamburger buns.
