Bacon Wrapped Pork Loin With Plum Sauce and Fresh Cilantro


6 oz 1 inch Cubed Pork Loin
2 Pieces 13/17 Count Bacon
salt and Pepper to taste
2 Bamboo skewers 6 to 8inch
Fresh Cilantro for Garnish

Plum Sauce

1 tbs Rice Wine Vinegar
1 tbs Hoisin sauce
½ tbs Finely Chopped Fresh Ginger
¾ tbs Toasted Sesame oil
2 tsp Finely Chopped Fresh Garlic
4 ounces Smuckers Plum Jam


For the Pork skewer

1. Skewer the Pork, 3 to 4 pieces per skewer

2. Salt and Pepper the Bacon

3. Carefully Wrap the bacon starting at the bottom

4. Sear in Medium Sauce pan until all sides are brown

5. Roll in Plum Sauce Garnish With Cilantro

For the Plum Sauce:

1. Medium heat in a medium sauté pan add Toasted Sesame Oil

2. Add Fresh Garlic and Ginger, do not overcook or will become bitter

3. Add Hoisin Sauce and Rice Wine Vinegar and Plum Jam

4. Simmer on low heat for 10 minutes

5. Strain Garlic and Ginger out of the sauce

6. Cool, Cover, Label and Date.
