Vegan restaurant open its doors in Rapid City on Monday

RAPID CITY S.D. (KOTA TV) - A three year dream turned reality. DeVine Delights is a vegan deli and ice cream parlor opening Monday in Rapid City.

Owners Paul Jarvis and his wife wanted to bring a restaurant featuring vegan burgers, hot dogs, and sandwiches, but they are most excited to bring their vegan non-dairy ice cream to town. Most ice creams have a cashew or coconut taste, but the Jarvis' believe to have perfected their recipe and have the closet taste to the real thing.

"The millennial age group is really driving the vegan movement. It's really phenomenal what's going on in the food world and we're really excited to be on the front cutting edge here in Rapid City," says Paul Jarivs, co-owner of DeVine Delights.

DeVine Delight will open Monday on the first floor of Turnac Tower offering Rapid Rity residents a taste of a new trend.
