The solar eclipse is just days away. But even though it won't cover South Dakota in complete darkness, drivers will see and feel the difference on the road.

If you do catch a glimpse of the solar eclipse from behind the wheel, AAA officials warn drivers to keep their eyes on the road.

In fact they advise drivers to pull over. However, if you keep driving, put the sun visor down to block the view of the sun.

Also do not wear your eclipse glasses while driving, and be on the lookout for pedestrians.

Under any circumstances do not try to photograph or video the eclipse while driving.
