Ranch fire near Caputa

Just after 5am Monday a fire broke out at a home near Caputa along East Highway 44.
More than 10 fire trucks responded to the home, by that time the fire had engulfed the home.
Firefighters confirm to KOTA Territory News the homeowners were able to get out safely.
According to the Rapid City American Red Cross, there were four people that were affected by the fire that need assistance.
There were a number of horses and animals on the property, no word on their condition.
There was ammunition inside the home
The closest fire hydrant is at the Rapid City Regional Airport, where crews are reloading their water supply.
American Red Cross says, they will be providing the family with money for food and clothing for immediate needs.
