Pearl Harbor survivor Stan Lieberman has passed away

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA TV) - One of the last two of South Dakota survivors of the attack on Pearl Harbor has died. Stan Lieberman passed away in Rapid City, Thursday, at the age of 100.

Lieberman was honored in December at the South Dakota Air and Space Museum on the 75th anniversary of Pearl Harbor. Lieberman was an aerial photographer for the Air Force, who captured the devastation after the Japanese attack.

A longtime advertising executive at KOTA, Lieberman shared his secret to living a long life.

Funeral arrangements for Lieberman are pending.
