RAPID CITY, SD (KOTA-TV) An all-inclusive event was held in what used to be Sears. A 'Night to Shine' gives those with Diverse-abilities the chance to attend an event they may have missed out on in the past----Prom.
From a limo ride, hair and makeup, photos, red carpet, and of course dancing the 2nd annual Night to Shine sponsored by the Tim Tebow foundation put on a night to remember.
Over 600 community members came together. The event allowed people with diverse-abilities to attend with a volunteer guest from the Rapid City area.
While those attending the event had a blast, those putting it on loved it even more.
'It's incredible. It blesses us more than it does the guest a lot of the time. We get to come here and we get to show that God loves, and we love you. We just want to be here for you. Even if it was for one night we want you to feel honored and special.' says Keith Culver
The event took nearly six months to put together and had a catered meal. Among those welcoming the guests was our very own Katrina Lim
