CASPER, Wyo. (AP) - Officials say nobody was injured when a train derailed in southern Wyoming.
Railroad spokesman Tim McMahan says 21 cars carrying mixed freight derailed early Thursday west of Medicine Bow in Carbon County. There were no hazardous materials on board.
The Casper Star-Tribune reports the toppled train cars spilled contents that included potatoes, onions and lumber.
Union Pacific Railroad officials are investigating the cause.
