Driver arrested, passenger seriously injured in Rapid City crash

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA TV) - A passenger was seriously injured and the driver arrested following a one-car crash in Rapid City early Tuesday morning.

The crash happened around 1:40 a.m. in the area of Fifth Street and Cathedral Drive. The car had hit a light pole.

According to a police department release, the driver – 25-year-old Brittany Two Bulls of Rapid City -- was unconscious when police arrived.

After getting Two Bulls and the injured passenger out of the car, police say they noticed several open alcohol containers.

Two Bulls was arrested for DUI (third), vehicular battery and other charges.

Her passenger, whose name was not released, was taken to the hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries.
