RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA TV) - The public can help Rapid City Area Schools fund its breakfast and lunch programs.

While many district students are enrolled in the free and reduced lunch program, there are students who don’t qualify but their parents still struggle to pay for school meals. Also, there are parents who just didn’t sign their children up for the aid.

People can help these students by donating to eFunds, the platform RCAS uses to collect school meal payments. Just go to this link on the district’s website:

“This is a great opportunity, especially around the holidays, to help a Rapid City Area Schools family. It is easy to donate, and every little bit make a difference,” Student Nutrition Manager Janelle Peterson said.
