The name of the 7-year-old boy who was killed in a double homicide Sunday afternoon has been released.
According to Sheriff Mike Milstead with the Minnehaha County Sheriff's Department, the boy's mother, Cassandra Otto, requested that the boy's name be released.
Milstead says Brayden Robert-Emil Otto was being temporarily cared for by his grandmother Carol Simon, who was also killed in the homicide.
Milstead says 24-year-old Heath Otto is Brayden's uncle and is the suspect in the double homicide.
Heath Otto is being held at the Minnehaha County Jail on a $5 million cash only bond.
