Butterfly day teaches life lessons to kids at Mountain View Elementary

Mountain View Elementary students learn life lessons during butterfly day; thanks to the Kenadi Jean Foundation.

Butterfly day was created in memory of a five year old girl named Kenadi Jean Weis; who passed away two years ago from a brain injury which made her non verbal and confined to a wheelchair.

Butterfly day allows kids to learn how to express their individuality and accept the individuality and differences of others.

During butterfly day kindergarteners paint butterflies, rocks, and do many other different activities.
