With all the people crowding to the Casper, Wyoming area for the eclipse, there are bound to be accidents.

Black Hills Life Flight is lending its services to Casper, Wyoming this weekend.

They will have a plane waiting in Casper to transport patients to bigger hospitals, while the helicopter will be stationed in Rapid City.

Black Hills Life Flight is part of the national organization, Air Methods, which will have emergency medical services at almost every major viewing area for the eclipse in the country.

"The planning process is basically using our other sister bases within Air Methods. The state of Wyoming is basically going to double in population. So we’re going to have to rely on some of our sister bases if Idaho and Nebraska and South Dakota as well."

The crew expects their busiest days will be the 18th-20th, with it gradually getting less busy through August 23rd.
