Believe it or not, something out of this world has come to the town of Hulett, Wyo.
UFO enthusiasts are in town for the first Devils Tower UFO Rendezvous through Saturday.
Some of the people attending the event even have personal experience with the extraterrestrial.
Alien abductee survivor Travis Walton said "I got out to take a closer look, I was struck by a blast of energy from this craft, and taken aboard."
"Seeing is believing and it started when I was 12 years old and I have been fascinated with the subject matter ever since,” exclaims Laurie Tucker. “I saw my first UFO."
Thursday, those attending had the chance to hear from keynote speakers on the topic of investigative field training.
They are in Hulett celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Steven Spielberg movie "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" since part of it was shot near Devils Tower.
One of the field investigative trainers, molecular biologist Richard Beckwith, uses science to explain things he doesn't understand but says sometimes there's no scientific reasoning.
"Some of those unidentified objects that people see in the sky might actually be probes from an alien civilization. I'm not saying that they are but I'm saying that that 5 percent of unexplained sightings certainly leave open the possibility that this is in fact the case," explains Beckwith.
