Madison Elliott joined the KOTA Territory News team in the summer of 2017 as weekend anchor and reporter, moving to Good Morning KOTA Territory in the fall of 2018.
She packed up and traded in the City of Brotherly Love for the City of Presidents. Originally from the Philadelphia area, Madison grew up in Allentown, Penn. (yes, the town named after that Billy Joel song) and graduated maxima cum laude in May 2017 from La Salle University with a degree in communication and Spanish.
While in college, Madison was a junior reporter at Fox 29 Philadelphia, freelancing stories for their weekend show, such as Athlete of the Week. She interned for other Philly stations, such as 6 ABC, PHL 17; and produced shows at the Philadelphia Children's Hospital for their in-house TV station. Madison also worked with CBS Radio News in the summer of 2016 to help cover the Democratic National Convention when it came to Philly.
One of her most memorable reporting experiences so far is when Pope Francis visited Philadelphia, and she was able to meet and interview people from all over the world.
She was heavily involved with her campus TV station called La Salle TV, helped start the news show and wrote for their newspaper, the Collegian. Madison was also a Division 1 athlete in college, running cross country and track.
When Madison isn't reporting, she loves exploring all of the hiking trails, getting in some runs; and watching her Philly sports teams, especially the Eagles.
