Alicia anchors KOTA Territory News at 10 pm. She has been part of the KOTA Territory News team for over 25 years.

Alicia grew up in Southern California and graduated with a law degree from Stanford University School of Law.

After working with CBS Television in L.A., she decided that she wanted to make a life and raise a family somewhere besides urban Los Angeles.

So Alicia packed up, moved to South Dakota, and began work as a practicing lawyer in Rapid City, with a special interest in problems affecting consumers.

Soon after, Alicia joined the KOTA Territory News team and now reports, produces, and anchors stories that affect our community. Alicia splits her time between working as a part of the KOTA News Team and representing clients in her law practice. She is also the proud mother of two sons, Jack and Adam, and two daughters, Elena and Diana.

For people who were listening to KOTA radio that rainy night of June 9, 1972, they heard Robb DeWall describe the escalating conditions. DeWall’s booming radio voice told listeners that “Little Elk Creek is causing severe flooding in the Nemo area and Rapid Creek above Rapid City has risen more than four feet.”
