RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) - A Rapid City man, snared in the 2020 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally sting targeting internet predators, is sentenced to 14 years in federal prison.

Christopher Truax, 35, was convicted of attempted enticement of a minor using the internet.

According to a release from the Office of the U.S. Attorney for South Dakota, Truax chatted and exchanged text messages with a person he believed to be a 13-year-old girl but was an undercover agent. Truax was arrested when he showed up at a location where he expected to meet the girl and have sex with her.
