Update: Missing inmate back in custody

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) - A minimum-security state prison inmate is back in custody after being placed on escape status when he failed to return to the Rapid City Community Work Center Wednesday.
Harlen Prue, 30, is serving sentences from Pennington County for drug possession and ingestion of a controlled substance.
While Prue turned himself in, leaving the center is considered second-degree escape which is a felony punishable by up to five years in prison.
