Thursday’s COVID-19 numbers in South Dakota

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) - There were 12 new COVID-19 cases reported on Thursday in South Dakota. This brings the state’s total known case number to 122,588.

No new deaths were reported.

Pennington County reported 5 new cases, Lawrence County reported 3 new cases, and Meade County reported 1 new case.

Hospitalizations have decreased by 5, bringing the total to 38.

According to CDC data, 55.45% of South Dakotans have received at least one COVID-19 vaccine and 50.39% have completed the full vaccine series.
