RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) - There were 29 new COVID-19 cases reported on Tuesday in South Dakota. This brings the state’s total known case number to 122,567.

One new death has been reported bring South Dakota’s death toll to 2023

Pennington County reported 10 new cases, Butte and Meade counties reported 2 new cases each, and Corson, Lawrence, Custer and Lyman counties each reported 1 new case.

Hospitalizations have increased by three, bringing the total to 43.

According to CDC data, 55.29% of South Dakotans have received at least one COVID-19 vaccine and 50.16% have completed the full vaccine series.
