Make Sunday’s DIY Bath Soak

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) - Wintertime can be rough our the skin, and a milk bath soak is one way to soothe and nourish dry skin.

This is a homemade lavender rose bath soak with oatmeal and coconut milk to cleanse and soothe the body, it can be especially helpful for those with eczema.

What you need:

1/2 cup coconut milk powder, 1/2 cup colloidal oatmeal, 10 drops lavender essential oil, 1 tablespoon dried rose petals, and a mason jar.

Instructions:

1. Mix the milk powder and oatmeal in a bowl, I chose coconut milk for the sweet scent.

2. Pour in 10 drops of lavender essential oil.

3. Add in dried rose petals, and fill your mason jar with the mixture.

When you’re ready to use the bath soak, pour half the mason jar into warm bath water and soak in the natural ingredients.
