Cooking Beef with Eric - Creamy Beef
RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) - Here is a super-easy crockpot beef recipe with just 4 ingredients. The recipe comes from Mary Jessen, a contributor to the South Dakota Cattle Women’s cookbook, “Beef all Day Long.”
In a crockpot, combine 1 pound of stew meat with a half package of onion soup mix.
Add a can of cream of mushroom soup and a half cup of Pinot Noir wine.
Do not add salt and pepper.
Cook on high for 3 hours. Serve over noodles or rice.
**NOTE** you can brown the beef ahead of time and that will reduce the cooking time to 1 and a half hours.
