A little breezy, but sunny for Thanksgiving
RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) - Scattered clouds are expected overnight. The majority of cloud cover will be over the northern hills and northeast Wyoming as a weak system slides through. A few snow showers will be possible for parts of Wyoming and the northern hills, where a dusting of snow is possible.
Clouds move out early on Thanksgiving and open up to mostly sunny skies. Temperatures will be in the 30s in Wyoming and parts of the hills, while others enjoy temperatures near or in the 40s. It will be a little breezy through the day.
Warmer air returns Friday as highs get close to 50° with sunny skies. Saturday is the warmest day we will have in a week with highs climbing up to near 60°. It’ll be a good day to put up any Christmas decorations, go out and hike, or do anything you enjoy outdoors to take advantage of the nice day.
Sunday is cooler with a high near 40°, though still sunny. It’ll be breezy Sunday, so temperatures will feel more like the 20s and 30s. Highs will remain in the 40s for much of next week with sunny skies.
