More rain Late Tuesday into Wednesday!
A Flash Flood Watch is in effect from noon today through midnight Wednesday night. A strong piece of energy in the upper atmosphere will trigger widespread rain and thunderstorms in Wyoming first, spreading into western South Dakota tonight and Wednesday. Rainfall of 1 to 3 inches is likely, presenting a significant threat of flash flooding as this rain will be falling on saturated grounds.
Thursday is a day with a break, then an afternoon storm or two could pop up Friday, followed by another storm with heavy rain potential for the coming weekend.
