From Chief Meteorologist Mike Modrick: Low Tonight: 50 winds NNW 10-20 mph
High Tomorrow: 60 winds N 15-25 mph We are now just over 7" of rain in May for Rapid City. That is still 10th wettest, but if we get above 7.30" we become #9. We would have to get to 8" to reach the #8 spot. And the #1 wettest May with 9.71" looks like it will stay #1.
Scattered showers will continue into Friday morning, then some clearing starts Friday afternoon. Then a dry few days develop, with highs back in the 80s to start next week.
Thunderstorms could return into next week, especially into the first weekend in June.
