Facebook Fans' Fall Colors 2014

Thanks to our KOTA Territory News Facebook fans for posting their fall colors photos. Here's a slideshow of their work.

Spearfish Canyon Fall Colors 2014

The weekend of Sept. 20-21 saw the fall colors in Spearfish Canyon at about 75 percent; with a lot of autumn gold, some reds and yellows. Last year, the Oct. 4 blizzard ruined the colors before they peaked. While this year will be different, you can still see damage from that storm.

South Dakota Snow, Sept 11, 2014

Sept. 11 is definitely too early for snow, sticking or not ... it is too early. Having said that, thanks to all the KOTA Territory News Facebook fans for posting their scenes this morning. We didn't get all of them in this gallery so check out more on our Facebook page.

Wyoming Snow, Sept 11, 2014

Looks like Wyoming, mostly around Buffalo, got the brunt of this late summer ... yep, it is still summer ... snowstorm. It really is too early for this. However, thanks to all the KOTA Territory News Facebook fans for their photos.

Super Moon - September 2014

If you didn't take advantage of the view of the super moon Monday, Sept. 8, you probably missed the last one for a while since Tuesday night is overcast. So enjoy these KOTA Territory News Facebook posts from viewers.
