Daily Forecast

From Chief Meteorologist Mike Modrick:

An active week of weather is on tap for us as a series of upper level disturbances move over an increasingly moist and unstable airmass.

We are calling Tuesday a Severe Weather Alert Day. There will be a risk of severe weather, with large hail and damaging winds possible, especially Tuesday afternoon and evening. You should keep your TV or radio on, download the KOTA Mobile Weather App, and keep your cell phone charged up for Tuesday. The most common time for severe storms is between 2pm to 8pm.

Storms will last through Thursday, but a drier and warmer weather pattern returns next weekend into next week.
