Daily Forecast

From Chief Meteorologist Mike Modrick:

Snow Ends This Evening!

S0 far, snow totals range from 9.8" in downtown Rapid City to 12.5" in Lead to 6" in Hot Springs. Another 1" to 2" will fall in Rapid City, 3" to 4" farther east toward Philip and Kadoka.

Cold arctic air settles in as the snow moves out. The next three mornings could dip below zero, with Wednesday morning our coldest in the minus Teens.

Temperatures will be slow to warm up with all this snow on the ground. We would need several days like Valentines Day to melt it, and we don't have it!
