4 mins ago - Then some fog possible tonight

Daily Forecast

From Chief Meteorologist Mike Modrick:

Rainy Days and Tuesdays!

Our next storm system arrives late tonight and Tuesday. Although the main part of the storm will be in the southern Rockies, a strong piece of energy will rotate north into KOTA Territory, bringing fairly widespread showers. Computer models have been very bullish with rainfall totals from this system, but at this time it appears as though much of the area could see .50" to 1.00" in Rapid City of much-needed rainfall. Snow will be confined to the highest elevations of the Black Hills and Big Horns. The rain ends Tuesday evening

We start the day Wednesday with fog, which could slow down travel in the morning. Then skies clear Wednesday afternoon and we warm up into Thursday. We are tracking another storm that has potential for Friday or even Saturday - and once again, mainly rain.
