Daily Forecast

From Chief Meteorologist Mike Modrick:

The Heat is Turning Off!

We hit 52 downtown Rapid City Wednesday, 64 in Deadwood. And now, the party is over. Temps will still be in the 40s Thursday, but the drop continues as we push to the 30s by Saturday. Which is average.

Clouds gradually return, too, leading to some light snow in parts of KOTA Territory Friday and Saturday. We are tracking a storm that could be more significant for Tuesday and Wednesday of next week. Computer models have considerable differences in the timing and intensity of this one, so we are watching it very closely!
