Daily Forecast

From Chief Meteorologist Mike Modrick:

Late May and early June are typically our wettest times of the year. And we're finally going to live up to that potential.

Evening thunderstorms continue in KOTA Territory tonight. There could be some strong thunderstorms at times and some areas may see some locally heavy rainfall. Severe storms are most likely just to the south in Nebraska.

Every day has some potential for this hit-and-miss afternoon thunderstorms. The days with the minimal amount of stormy action will be Wednesday, then Saturday and Sunday. Right now, computer models are indicating a better chance of afternoon storms again on Memorial Day. We'll keep tracking the new developments as they occur.
