Dinosaur Workshop

During this dinosaur adventure students will learn about Sue—the largest, most complete, and best-preserved Tyrannosaurus rex ever discovered – and other dinosaurs found in western South Dakota. Children will make a dinosaur craft to take home. Light refreshments will be provided. For students in grades K-6. Days of ‘76 Museum; 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.; $6 for members and $11 for non-members. Join Deadwood History and Black Hills Paranormal Investigations (BHPI) for an exclusive ninety minute paranormal investigation of one of Deadwood’s most haunted sites. Learn the history behind the darker stories associated with the historic home and search for paranormal activity using night vision cameras, full spectrum cameras, digital audio recorders, parascopes, Ovilus, and EMF meters. Tours are offered at 6:00, 7:30, 9:00, and 10:30 p.m. on October 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, and 21. Tickets are $30 for members, $35 for non-members and prices include a t-shirt. You must be at least 12 years old to participate. Ages 12 – 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Psychic readings with Melissa Teel-Hartman will be available following each tour in the gentleman’s smoking room for $20 per person. Must be at least 18 to participate and limited to eight people per session. Advance reservations are required. A Thriller by Firehouse Brewing Theatre

Arthur Kipps, a junior solicitor, journeys to a small town to attend the funeral of a client. While in attendance, he catches sight of a woman in black; the mere mention of whom terrifies the locals, for she is a ghost who haunts the neighborhood.
Reluctantly, Arthur begins work at the home of his deceased client, Mrs. Drablow, to take care of her estate.
Once at the home, situated in the middle of a marsh and cut off from the mainland at high tide, Arthur finds a box of letters and ultimately discovers the dreadful secret of the Woman in Black – to his own terrible cost.
