1/4 cup sour cream
4 slices 100% whole wheat bread
2 green onions, sliced
2 slices process American or Swiss Cheese
2 hard-cooked eggs, cut into 1/4- inch slices
2-4 slices of ham
1/8 cup butter or margarine to spread on sandwiches
Spread sour cream on one side of four slices of bread. Top two slices, sour cream side up, with onions, eggs, cheese and ham. Top with the remaining bread slices, sour cream side down. This recipe will make 2 sandwiches. Butter outsides of sandwiches; cook in a large skillet over medium heat until golden brown on both sides and until cheese slightly melts.
For a different taste substitute bacon for cooked ham.
