1 loaf, frozen white or wheat bread dough, thawed and slightly raised
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 envelope onion soup mix
1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
Divide bread dough into 9 portions; shape each into a ball. In a bowl, combine the Parmesan cheese and soup mix. Place melted butter in another bowl. Roll each ball in butter, then in the cheese mixture. Arrange in a greased 9x9 inch baking pan. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 45 minutes.
Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from pan to wire rack. Serve warm. Yield: 9 rolls.
Note: You can double the recipe and make 20 rolls and bake in a 9x13 inch pan for 30-35 minutes. These rolls are great with soup or salad!
