Pennywise Halloween CREEPY 'Feely' Box

This is a game for a Halloween party:

The idea is to guess what is in the box just by feeling the contents of the bowl.  Have small prizes available so everyone should win something!

Take small plastic boxes with lids, like a shoebox size, cover the outside of the box with sticky paper of some kind so they can't see inside the box.

Cut 1-2 holes in the tops big enough for the kids to put their hand in without seeing the contents of the box.

Put in one or two small bowls.  Have the children take turns 'feeling' and guessing.

Some ideas for the contents of the boxes:

  • BAT LIVERS: a small can of mushrooms, chopped
  • DRAGON DROPPINGS: chocolate covered peanuts or raisins
  • EYE OF NEWT: peeled grapes in plain gelatin
  • WORMS: cooked cold spaghetti
  • LIZARD LIPS: mint green gumdrops (smashed flat)
  • HAGGAR THE HORRIBLE'S © HAIR: piece of fake fur or a hunk of old furry coat collar
  • WITCHES TOES: small sweet pickles
  • BRAINS: cold, scrambled eggs with green and blue food coloring added as they cook
  • BAT BONES: pretzel stick pieces
