1 rib eye steak (about 3/4 lb.)
1 round loaf of bread, sliced
12 fresh spinach leaves
2 slices Swiss cheese
4-6 mushrooms
Olive oil for sauteing
dash of garlic salt
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. white wine
a Panini press *
Pre-heat your Panini grill. In a frying pan, saute the mushrooms in the
olive oil with the lemon juice, white wine and garlic salt until golden.
Grill the steak on the Panini grill, making sure it stays rare (it will
continue to cook later). Slice the cooked meat very thinly, and cut into
bite-sized pieces, if desired. Assemble the sandwiches: bread, cheese, meat,
spinach, mushrooms, cheese, and bread. Place on the Panini press and grill
until the cheese is melted and the bread is toasted (about 2-3 minutes). Put the bottom of a second frying pan on top of the sandwich.
