LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) - Albany County voters will be asked in the November election whether to renew an optional 1-cent sales tax.
The Laramie Boomerang reports (http://tinyurl.com/m7sxdkg ) the county commissioners approved the ballot question Tuesday.
Officials say voters have approved the tax every four years since 1986. The money goes into the county's general funds.
The levy is called the fifth-penny tax. In the past, it has supported a senior center, the Laramie Youth Crisis Center, the Laramie Regional Airport and other projects.
