Wooden bridge in Rapid City gets overhaul

By Barrett Phillips

Creek Drive will be closed to all traffic except for those who live on it, as the city puts in a new bridge.

The closure will be for about four months.  The street is expected to reopen by Dec. 15; when the new bridge is finished.

As Cetec Engineering tears down the old wooden bridge they will build a new reinforced concrete bridge.

Minor work will continue off the roadway until May 15 of next year.
