New Deadwood rules - no cell phones and only English

New gaming regulations are crafted to crack down on cheating but limiting speech in other languages. In Deadwood casinos, "player bank games" like poker now bar players from making phone calls, texting or speaking in any language other than English. These new regulations are meant to thwart any would-be cheaters.

Mike Rodman, executive director of the Deadwood Gaming Association, says most gaming communities already have these types of rules in place. "To all of the folks that are sitting at the table; that there isn't conversation going on in another language that gives those players an advantage over another player seated at the poker table and that's been pretty standard across in most gaming jurisdiction the county," Rodman said.

Nevada is one state that has similar rules in place to discourage cheating.
