Parade brings community together in Belle Fourche

The Fourth of July parade in Belle Fourche draws people from all over. Organizers say it's the largest parade in the western part of South Dakota. Parade spectators say it does more than celebrate the nation, it brings the community together.

Music played and people marched at the Fourth of July parade in Belle Fourche. This year's theme was celebrating the 95 years of the Black Hills Round Up.

Kids say they like all the sights and treats. "I like the candy and getting soaked with water, and all of the horses and stuff," Kyla Kobielusz said.

And spectators say it's a parade that brings people together. "Community is very important here and that's what I like about this parade," Meg English said.

Organizers estimate there were more than 10,000 spectators at the parade.
