Fourth of July celebration schedule in Black Hills

The Black Hills is celebrating the Fourth of July with a bang this year. Here is a schedule of some local activities and firework displays going on over the weekend.

 Thursday July 3rd-

 Post 22 in Rapid City will hold fireworks at dusk.

 New Underwood is having a community potluck and fireworks.

 Whitewood residents can use personal fireworks in Memorial Park from 11 a.m.-11 p.m.

 Friday July 4th-   

Arrowhead Golf course in Rapid City will have a fireworks display at dusk.

Crazy Horse will have a special Mountain Blast at 1:04 p.m. However, they will not be doing a fireworks display in the evening.

Hot Springs will hold a fireworks display at dusk near the old Materials Recovery Facility. The fireworks can be seen from the parking lot of the Mammoth Site.

Lead will have a city display along with their Gold Camp Jubilee Days between 9:15 and 9:45 p.m. at Manuel Bros Park.

Custer will hold a city fireworks display at Pageant Hill around 9:30 p.m.

Sturgis will have a display at dusk at the Sturgis Fairgrounds on Ball Park Road.

Interior will have a display at dusk.

Saturday July 5-

Elks Golf Course in Rapid City will have a display at dusk.

Belle Fourche will hold a city fireworks display at dusk following the Black Hills Roundup. It is suggested you park in residential areas and walk toward the library.

Box Elder will have fireworks along with their annual bash held by the Chamber of Commerce.
