Help wanted: Black Hills Harley-Davidson hires for rally

It's that time of year again when everyone is gearing up for the Sturgis Rally.  Black Hills Harley-Davidson is no exception.

According to company president Al Rieman, even though they prepare for the rally all year long, in the next couple of weeks, they will hire 500 temporary employees to help them service the 125,000 rally-goers they expect to see this year.  Positions include sales staff, parking attendants, mechanics, and many others.

The pay varies according to position.  Rieman says applicants should be prepared to work long hours and under high pressure at times. "It's challenging and it's intense, but it's an awful lot of fun and people enjoy it and they like coming back for the opportunity to be part of the biggest event and the biggest rally in the world," Rieman said.
